Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. Her modeling career began in 1990 and soon moved to acting after guest appearances on television series such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her performances were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader attention. She has appeared with American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun the 2001 independent drama, as well as the Trauma (2004) thrillers were also prominent in her work. In 2004, she appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. The show also featured her in Day of the Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and in the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. She was an accomplished actress who managed to excel in each one of these films. Missy is an incredibly generous lady. She spends her free time participating in various philanthropic causes. She works with an organization that's non-political and is aiming to offer affordable comfortable, secure footwear to South American societies.
